Early Childhood Special Education

Arch Ford Early Childhood Special Education Program Description:

The Arch Ford Early Childhood Program provides special education services for children with disabilities ages three to five.  The services are offered in accordance with the Individual with Disabilities Education Act, 1997 (IDEA) on behalf of the public schools.

Our goal is to locate, identify, and evaluate three, four, and five-year-old children with developmental delays and to provide special education services until they transition to Kindergarten. These services are provided free to families, on behalf of your local school district. The Early Childhood Staff works closely with school districts, ABC preschools, Head Start programs, day care facilities, EIDT centers, and parents in order to meet the goal of the program
