Dr. Julie Workman, TCC, and Candace Smith, Communication and Engagement Specialist from Arch Ford Education Service Cooperative recently attended the Apptegy SchoolCEO Conference in Little Rock, a premier event dedicated to empowering school leaders with the tools and strategies needed for effective communication and district branding. Hosted by Apptegy, a leader in K-12 communication technology, the conference focused on innovative ways to enhance school and district visibility while addressing the evolving needs of educational leadership.

Julie and Candace had the opportunity to attend keynote presentations by thought leaders in education and communication, explore case studies, and participate in interactive workshops. These sessions delved into critical topics such as utilizing digital tools to improve engagement with students, parents, and community stakeholders; strategic storytelling for school success; and effective brand-building practices to foster stronger district identities.

In addition to the technical aspects, the SchoolCEO Conference also covered leadership development, crisis communication, and how districts can leverage technology to create meaningful connections with their communities. Networking opportunities were abundant, allowing the Arch Ford specialists to collaborate with superintendents, principals, and school administrators from across the state and nation, gaining fresh perspectives and ideas.

By attending, the Arch Ford ESC employees are now equipped with cutting-edge insights and practical strategies to help schools in the cooperative region strengthen their communication efforts, amplify their brand, and better connect with their communities, ultimately supporting student achievement and district success.
