Arch Ford CTE is proud to announce a total of $443,587.91 awarded in Start-Up and Modernization Grants across 12 school districts in our region!
Modernization Grants support cutting-edge updates in already existing programs for classroom labs and equipment, giving students even more opportunities to explore, build, and lead in today's world. The following were awarded for the Agricultural Power, Structural, and Technical Systems:
Bigelow High School - $19,312.17
Clinton High School - $95,285.00
Morrilton High School - $14,976.12
Mount Vernon Enola High School - $48,237.50
Shirley High School - $54,538.55
South Side Bee Branch High School was also awarded a modernization grant of $22,176.50 to renovate their Animal Systems program.
Start-Up Grants help schools launch and expand their CTE programs, empowering students with hands-on learning and real-world skills. The following were awarded:
Heber Springs High School: Criminal Justice
Nemo Vista High School: Pre-Educator
Perryville High School: Pre-Educator
Pottsville High School: Computer Science - Programming
Western Yell County High School: Retail Management
West Side Greers Ferry High School: Banking
