Arch Ford CTE hosted its 2026 Girl Power event, welcoming female students from across the region to showcase their skills in advanced manufacturing and CNC technology. The event highlighted student talent and promoted career pathways in high-demand technical fields.

Students competed in four manufacturing event categories: CNC metal cutting, CNC wood cutting, CNC laser engraving, and CNC multi-tool. The top two projects in each category will advance to the State Girl Power Competition later this month in Benton, Arkansas.

In addition to the competition, attendees had opportunities to network with representatives from UACCM, Kimberly-Clark, the Arkansas National Guard, and Paragon, learning more about education, training, and employment opportunities in manufacturing and related industries.

The event also included door prizes and hands-on activities designed to create a welcoming and memorable experience for students, including permanent jewelry, friendship bracelet making, and keychain crafting.

Arch Ford CTE extends its appreciation to participating students, volunteers, and community partners for their support in making the event a success. The Girl Power event continues to encourage young women to explore and excel in manufacturing, engineering, and technical career fields.
