
Today, novice Music and Art teachers at Arch Ford gathered with Novice Mentoring/System Support Specialist Jacob Sisson to explore the Hierarchy of Student Excellence and Teacher Excellence Support System framework. The day was dedicated to reflection, planning, and problem-solving, focusing on Learning Resources, Routines/Procedures, Engagement, Rigor, and Mastery. The session concluded with Dover High School educators Nialle Blasdell (Band) and Tehya May (Art) mentoring the novices, showcasing excellence in their respective disciplines.

Dyslexia Specialist, Mindy Mann, worked with District Dyslexia Contacts this past week! During their monthly meeting, they reviewed K-12 screening guidelines, district requirements, and collaborated on resources.

November is National Entrepreneurship Month, and this PD is designed to provide fun ways to introduce entrepreneurship into your classroom. Sarah Reid, teacher turned entrepreneur, will invite us to her studio in Conway. In addition to ready to use resources, each participant will produce a nutcracker door hanger for home or the classroom.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

Directors and TCCs from across the state met with Secretary Oliva and the DESE team yesterday to get updates on LEARNS implementation and ATLAS. We appreciate the partnerships with DESE and the other 14 ESCs in the state to support all students! #ArchFordServes

Teachers spent the day examining strategies for engaging and scaffolding students in high rigorous grade level instruction as well as exploring Inclusive models of instruction.
