Morrilton Intermediate spent two full days with Systems Support Specialist Bethany Hill working on common language for behavior expectations, and creating lesson plans for teaching the expectations. This work is part of a K-12 system of common language for staff and students in every building! MIS teachers also learned about basic neuroscience, executive function development, the role of the student success team, and focusing on self regulation during challenging moments. Nurturing Minds is a program they have to support kindergarten students with executive functions.
